TheNintendo Switchis no stranger to the odd RPG and has even gotten some of the best of them across its lifetime. From third-party releases likeThe Witcher 3to the very best first-party RPGs likeXenoblade Chronicles 2, the Switch’s RPG library may not rival that of its competitors, but it is coming very close. Breaking Badalmost robbed us of one of its greatest moments with its original Walter Jr. story plans. It is a miracle thatCyberpunk 2077is on a Nintendo console at all. I thought it would be an impossible task, but the Switch 2’s impressive specs and CD Projekt Red’s hard work have made it happen. Aside from a plethora of performance and visual enhancements over the years, there’ve even been limited upgrades to the world of Night City itself, introducing more reactive NPCs and police chases for added enjoyment. Even if it took some time to get there,Cyberpunk 2077has come much closer to its ambitious premise than ever before, butsome areas of the game are likely only to be fully fleshed out with its eventual successor....
