The easiest way to describe it isMobLandif it focused almost exclusively on Harry.
Another widely-acclaimed gang drama,Peaky Blindersis one of Netflix’s biggest hits, and it’s technically still going. Starring Academy Award winner Cillian Murphy as gang boss Thomas Shelby,Peaky Blindersfollows the exploits of the eponymous gang as they navigate the criminal underworld of post-WWI Birmingham. While the Peaky Blinders gang was a real youth gang active in Birmingham in the 1920s, the show is entirely fictional, and is not based on the real people or events associated with that gang.
Emmett J. Scanlan, who plays Harrigan enforcer (and comic relief character) Paul O’Donnell inMobLand, stars as recurring cast member Billy Grade inPeaky Blinders.

Venturing away from the streets of London, Taylor Sheridan’s hit seriesLandmanfeatures plenty of action, shady business practices, and enough action to satisfyMobLandfans even if it’s set in modern-day Texas. Billy Bob Thornton stars as the titular landman, Tommy Norris, who operates in a similar, if less aggressively illegal, role as a fixer of sorts for an oil company. The show is driven by a terrific performance from Billy Bob Thornton, but features plenty of other stars in excellent roles, including Jon Hamm, Demi Moore, and Ali Larter.
Prior toMobLand, series creator Ronan Bennett was at the helm of the British crime thriller seriesTop Boy. Starring Ashley Walters and Kane Robinson,Top Boyfocuses on two drug dealers as they attempt to survive and thrive in the crime-ridden streets of Hackney, London. The dark drama deals with heavy themes, most notably the realities of social inequality and the struggles faced by those in disadvantaged communities.
Despite a passionate fanbase and solid ratings, the initial run of Top Boy was canceled after just two seasons in 2014. However, Canadian rapper Drake’s passion for the show helped its audience spread, and he approached the creators and cast about reviving the show for a third season.
