1000-Lb Sistersseason 7 starsAmy SlatonandAmanda Haltermanare no strangers to fighting, and they’re gearing up for another big conflict. The beloved unscripted show is technically about Amy Slaton, 37, and Tammy Slaton, 38, but several of their other siblings are also along for the ride, including their 44-year-old half-sibling, Amanda. Both Amy and Amanda have been through a lot of changes in their personal lives. They divorced their husbands throughout the last few years, and they were even married to a pair of brothers, Michael and Jason Halterman.
After divorcing their husbands, Amy and Amanda found themselves on their own. Amy had two small children to think about, while all of Amanda’s four sons were adults. The sisters leaned on each other, and, during1000-lb Sistersseason 7, Amanda moved in to Amy’s house. In some ways, having Amanda around has been great for both women. They didn’t grow up in the same house, sothis was a special time for them. Also, Amanda can help with Amy’s two little boys. Despite the upsides, living together looks like it may cause a major rift between them.

Amanda & Her Sons Are Driving Amy Crazy
“Wherever I’m At, My Children Can Be Also”
1000-lb Sistersseason 7 recently premiered, and itfound Amanda living with Amy. Though the arrangement worked for the sisters for a time, Amy was growing increasingly frustrated thatAmanda’s adult sons were constantly around. “Wherever I’m at, my children can be also,” said Amanda during a confessional. Though that’s a loving sentiment, Amy’s small house appears to be hopelessly overcrowded, and it’s driving Amy up the wall. After two months of cohabitation, if something doesn’t change, the hot-headed sisters will be at each other’s throats.
This isn’t the first time Amanda’s living arrangements have set her at odds with one of her siblings. During1000-lb Sisterseason 6, Tammy was living in Amanda’s guest house, and it ended badly. Like Amy, Tammy grewfrustrated about Amanda’s sons were always around. The issue came to a head during a contentious family meeting, and Amanda ended up throwing Tammy out of her house. “She’s dead to me,” Tammy said of her sister at one point. The sisters didn’t speak for several months and even missed holiday family events to avoid each other.

Ironically, it was Amy who brought her feuding sisters back together. After several months of drama, Amy had enough ofTammy and Amanda’s big feudand decided to do something about it. Sheplanned a dinner and insisted that both sisters come. The entire1000-lb Sistersclan gathered around Amy’s table, and Tammy and Amanda finally made amends. Amy used to be the hot-headed one, but this time, she played the family peacemaker.
This Isn’t Amy & Amanda’s First Big Fight
They’re No Strangers To Big Blow-Outs
This wouldn’t be the first time Amy and Amanda haven’t seen eye to eye. During1000-lb Sistersseason 5, the Slatons went on a family vacation to Florida. Amy had just announced her separation from Michael, so she was emotional. She refused to fly and ended up having one of Amanda’s sons drive her and her children to Florida. One night,Amy got upset and decided she wanted to go back home to Kentuckyright away.
If their current living arrangements end up getting heated, the1000-lb Sistersstars have repeatedly proven that they’re both more than willing to throw hands.
When Amy tried to get Amanda’s son to drive her back that night, Amanda stepped in and said no, not wanting her son to have to drive back to Kentucky on short notice. The two women fought, andit even got physical. Their other siblings had to separate the women.
