Porting or remastering DS titles is always a difficult task, given its dual screens, but the Switch has hosted quite a few remastered and remade DS titles. It would be theperfect console forDragon Quest 9, especially with its stylized graphics.

Dragon Quest 9has the series' best customization, with it being the main draw of the game,along with its multiplayer functions that would make it the perfect co-op title in modern gaming. It also has all the charm of theDragon Questseries, as one would expect, and withall the remakes the series is already making, now would be the best time to bringDQ9to modern audiences. It could haveDQ11’s aesthetic too, making it more appealing to a wider audience.

Gaming needs moreDragon Quest, andit could always do with charming, co-op adventures.
