Not only does it have numerous great originals, such asThe Boys,The Legend of Vox Machina, andReacher, but there are a variety of older hits available as well. In addition to hosting some great movies,Prime Video also has some criminally underrated TV showsin its library, many of which have been met with critical acclaim.

However, not all of these are short enough to view in a single weekend, but fortunately, some ofPrime Video’s best current TV showsare binge-friendly. While there are tonnes of fantastic options to sink your teeth into, these three great series really stand out thanks to their quality and creativity, making them the perfect way to spend your weekend.

3Fleabag

Having co-producedFleabagalongside the BBC, Amazon added the hit project to its streaming service, and it remains one of Prime Video’s best shows. The hilarious series consists of 12 total episodes, each of which is around 25 minutes or so, making it the perfect length to binge-watch over a few days, and it’s definitely worth it.

Phoebe Waller-Bridge stars in the dark comedy based on her one-woman play that found success in 2013, which is full of charm and personality. The humor is often blunt and can come across as relatively harsh, but that’s all part of the British charm that makesFleabag’s titular character feel so realistic and relatable.

While her decision-making can often be a little baffling, her relationship with the audience boosts our understanding of who she is, as the protagonist frequently breaks the fourth wall. Season 1’s huge success put a lot of pressure on season 2 to perform, but not only did the second installment live up to the hype, it smashed expectations.

The introduction of Andrew Scott’s character added a really compelling dynamic and created a heartwarming love story that completed Fleabag’s journey. While it was a littledisappointing that Prime Video’sFleabagonly got two seasons, the fact that this is the show’s biggest criticism is a testament to how good it is.

In addition, the series also had a pretty perfect conclusion that satisfied most viewers, making it understandable as to why Waller-Bridge was happy to end the project despite its overwhelming popularity. Olivia Coleman also offers an excellent villainous performance as Godmother, adding some star power to an already incredible cast that completely nailed their roles.

On the surface, the series may not seem like everyone’s cup of tea, butFleabagis an absolute masterpiece of a showthat expertly mixes humor and emotion to create a compelling narrative, and with its total runtime consisting of less than 6 hours, there are few better options to watch this weekend.

2Invincible

Invincibleis one of Prime Video’s biggest animated shows, and even for those who aren’t huge fans of the superhero subgenre, it’s a truly thrilling watch. Mark Grayson’s journey from a fairly normal kid to one of Earth’s leading superheroes may sound like a straightforward story, but there are countless twists and turns that makeInvinciblereally stand out.

Compared to more traditional superhero media,Invincibleis much more brutal, as the show features some grizzly scenes that viewers won’t forget in a hurry. There is also a plethora of great characters, with most of the supporting cast having rewarding arcs and development. Likewise, the villains are well fleshed out, many of who have gotten the better of Mark.

Despite his unbreakable mentality, the protagonist certainly isn’t as invincible as his superhero alias suggests, with some of the beatings he and his fellow heroes receive being borderline uncomfortable. However, this realism is why the comic book adaptation is so good, since it is willing to highlight the vulnerabilities of superheroes while also challenging their behavior and authority.

On top of having strong characters and storylines, the show is also hilarious at times, withInvinciblehaving some of the best running jokeson TV. Its title card gags and comic relief characters add a much-needed balance to the often dark and heavy tone the series provides, adding yet another layer of quality.

The cast is also impressive, with some of the industry’s biggest names involved who give their all to makingInvincibleso iconic, hence Steven Yeun and Sterling K. Brown earning Emmy nominations. Although the animation has faced some criticism, the show still contains plenty of beautiful scenes and stunning sequences that comfortably pass the eye test.

WithInvincibleseason 3 endingearlier this year, now is definitely an ideal time for newcomers to join the fan base and see what all the hype is about. A fourth season is set to be released next year, while season 5 is also in the works, meaning there’s plenty to look forward to if the series does manage to get you hooked.

Voice work forInvincibleseason 5 is already complete ahead of season 4’s release in 2026.

While the 24 episodes can be a lot to get through,Invincibleis still bingeable over the course of one weekend, and if you find yourself with a little bit of spare time, the Atom Eve special is also worth checking out to fully catch up on the unique superhero series.

1Fallout

By far one of Prime Video’s best options to binge in its entire library is 2024’sFallout. Based on the video game franchise,Fallouthad a lot going for it ahead of its release, such as a pre-established fan base and a strong cast, but the results surpassed what anyone expected, cementing its status as an all-time great video game adaptation.

The series perfectly matches the tone and atmosphere of its source material, but it also manages to tell an original story using three very different protagonists. Lucy (Ella Purnell) starts the series as an innocent vault dweller full of optimism, but when forced to tackle the wastelands, her outlook on the world becomes very different as she transitions into a hardened survivor.

Crossing paths with Walton Goggins' the Ghoul certainly played a role in this transformation, as Goggins' character is a no-nonsense bounty hunter who has been drastically changed due to radiation exposure. We learn a lot about the character through flashbacks, and despite his tough exterior, his true motivation reveals a lot about who he really is as a person.

Maximus' (Aaron Moten) journey is also a fascinating watch, as his background is once again completely different from the other lead characters. Like Lucy, his beliefs are also challenged by an important mission, leading to some bold decisions that make his interactions with the other protagonists all the more interesting.

Between its well-executed humor, gripping drama, intense action, and faithfulness to the source material,Fallouthas everything you could ask for, and it seems like it will only get better. The writers produced a truly must-see story that shouldn’t be overlooked because of its video game links or violence, making it one of last year’s best shows.

WithFalloutseason 1’s endingsetting up plenty more to come, it seems like the show has a healthy future ahead, especially with it already being renewed for a third outing before the second has even debuted. As a result, now feels like the perfect time to get invested in the chaotic series, especially since it’s only eight episodes long.

Updates forFalloutseason 2continue to roll out, and with the next installment set to arrive in late 2025, it’s worth setting aside some time this weekend to catch up on the award-winning series that has become one ofPrime Video’s biggest shows to date.
