In the wake of Mizkif’s return to streaming onTwitch, fellow streamer Adrianah Lee wasn’t shy in sharing her thoughts and how she feels a ban is in order for one of the platform’s biggest names. The comments come as Mizkif remains on-leave from OTK, pending the completion of a third-party investigation, due to allegedly covering up the sexual assault of Adrianah Lee by Mizkif’s former-friend and housemate CrazySlick. It is the latest wrinkle in a case which has been at the forefront ofTwitchfor nearly a month which, as Mizkif’s return shows, may not reach a full resolution for some time.

The aforementioned accusations against Mizkif came in September 2022, claiming he helped cover up thealleged sexual assault of Adrianah Leeby fellow streamer CrazySlick at a party the pair attended in Austin, Texas, in January 2020. Maya Higa was also accused of trying to cover up the alleged assault at the time it happened by influencing the original statement put out by Adrianah Lee days after the party. Shortly after being accused of covering up CrazySlick’s alleged actions, OTK placed the organization’s co-founder on-leave and began a third-party investigation which, as of this writing, remains ongoing.

Adrianah Lee’s newest comments came during an appearance on theMom’s Basement podcast with Keemstarwhere the streamer was asked about her thoughts on Mizkif’s recent return to Twitch. She was upfront with her frustrations about how he was welcomed back to the platform, saying it highlights the difference in audience perception of female streamers on a male-dominated platform. She was then asked about the idea of Twitch banning Mizkif, saying she approved of the idea and thought it was appropriate given the severity of the allegations against Mizkif.

Mizkif returned to Twitch in early October 2022 after roughly three weeks offline due to the accusations and active investigation. His return stream peaked at around 60,000 viewers, though he did not speak on anything involving CrazySlick, his accusations, or the investigation, saying he was advised not to discuss anything while the investigation remained active. Despite this, he was met with criticism by several other streamers, includingHasan Pikerand Wolfabelle, who felt his apparent nonchalant attitude was inappropriate, or he shouldn’t have gone live at all.

In regard to a potential ban, it would hardly be the first time Mizkif has been hit with one by Twitch. One such ban came in 2020 after he and fellowOTK founder Esfandmade several inappropriate jokes about a female content creator, resulting in a seven-day ban. However, given the severity of the accusations by Adrianah Lee and pending results of the investigation, some viewers could argue Mizkif’s days on Twitch could come to an end, though it remains to be seen if that will be the case.
