How to Unlock Wild Starter Pokemon in Scarlet and Violet
The good news is that thestarter Pokemoncan start to be unlocked early on in your adventure; the bad news is that unlocking each set of starter Pokemon will cost 3000 BP (12000 in total for all 24 starters).
As part ofThe Indigo Disk’s story, you’ll learn about a League room back at the Academy with an interactive PC. You can use this to donate BP to unlock new features and customization options, and, more importantly, you can boost the diversity of each biome, unlocking new wild starter Pokemon spawns.

There are six starter Pokemon per biome (we have a full list below), and each will only appear if you’ve donated towards the appropriate biome diversity request.
At the beginning of the game, you may earn BP by completing BBQs, which you can check by pressing the right button on the directional pad. Doing these solo will get you points, but doing them online with friends will get you BP even faster.
