Following both theirVIP and Open Demosthe past couple of weekends, EA and BioWare look primed and ready for the upcoming release ofAnthem. Though the long-term plans for the sci-fi shooter are evident, it’s pivotal for the company to verify the game hits the ground running, especially when considering the increasingly crowded “games as service” ecosystem, with other AAA-titles such asDestiny 2, Fallout 76,andThe Division 2competing for market space alongsideAnthem.
With just a couple weeks left until launch,Anthem’s full trophy and achievement lists have been revealed for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, respectively. The entirety of the list is pretty straight-forward, as most accolades are broken down intofinishing story missions, completing weapon challenges, and uncovering entire sections of the map. None of the trophies or achievements have been listed as secret on either platform, meaning their descriptions and trophy tier/Gamerscore are visible to all players.

Looking at the list, there doesn’t appear to be any real unique challenges players need to complete to earn all of the trophies or achievements for the game. The omission of anyJavelin-specifictrophies also comes as a potential miss, and adding accolades to each of them could have potentially added more incentive for players to try different suits. For any players willing to uncover the entire map, use every type of weapon, and finish the entire story campaign, obtaining the Platinum trophy or earning every achievement shouldn’t require more additional legwork.
While the list does appear dry in terms of its complexity, EA and BioWare’s dedication to post-launch content could see more achievements/trophies being added later on. Given the roadmap of DLC planned followingAnthem’s release, adding to the current list of accolades shouldn’t be too difficult, especially when consideringhow long EA plans to support the game.
