Not too long ago, BioWare announced thatAnthem’spublic demo exceeded the studio’s expectations, with the developer going on to state that it received an “overwhelmingly positive” response from the community as a whole. With the title’s demo period in the rear view and with its launch being imminent, Electronic Arts and BioWare have now decided to team up with Microsoft and offer a deal for those who might be in the market for a new system and its upcoming game by releasing anAnthemXbox One S bundle.
According to a rundown of the package provided by Microsoft, theAnthemXbox One S bundle will not only include a full-game download ofAnthem’s Legion of Dawn Edition, but also a 1-month Xbox Live Gold subscription and a 1-monthXbox Game Passtrial. Not to mention, the system’s hard drive’s storage size will be 1 TB. Those enticed by the offer would do well to know that the manufacturer’s suggested retail price will be $299.

As previously mentioned, it won’t be too much longer beforeAnthemofficially hits store shelves, with the game set to launch in just a little more than a couple of weeks from now. While the Xbox One S bundle might prove to be alluring to some preparing for the title’s release, it’s worth noting thatElectronic Artsand BioWare will also be putting the action-RPG out on PC and PlayStation 4 for those who may prefer to play it on those platforms.
All things considered, it will be interesting to see if thisAnthemXbox One S bundle will assist BioWare in selling more copies of the game and help Microsoft move more console units in the process. It was recently revealed that Xbox One sales had reached about half of PS4’s sales, so perhaps the aforementioned system bundle with BioWare’s online multiplayer shooter will serve as a solid incentive to increase those numbers.
Anthemis scheduled to launch on June 03, 2025 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
