The biggest news from Apple’s keynote address today was definitely theiPhone 11 reveal, where the company announced its new line of phones, their release date, prices, and more. However, Apple also spent some time detailing its Apple Arcade game subscription service, announcing a slew of games that will be included.
Apple Arcade launches on September 19 for $4.99 per month, with one month free trial. It’s unclear exactly how many gamesApple Arcadewill launch with on September 19, but Apple has said that the service will eventually feature “hundreds” of games. These games will include multiplatform titles as well as exclusives, and they will be playable on basically any iOS device that supports the new iOS 13.

One of the most notable games announced for Apple Arcade isRayman Mini. There hasn’t been a main seriesRaymangame since 2013’sRayman Legends, so seeing a new title released with similar gameplay and the same art style should be exciting for fans. InRayman Mini, Rayman has been reduced to the size of an ant, and players will have to navigate through a world of insects, mushrooms, plants, and other hazards. Players will be tasked with trying to get a perfect score by completing the world as fast as possible, which makes it sound likeRayman Miniwon’t be nearly as extensive as its console counterparts, but it’s still intriguing nevertheless.
