Sweet Christmas do we have some great news about video games today!
Let’s see…My previews forMetal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroeswent up, a newBatman game was announcedby Rocksteady,Batman: Arkham Knight,Watch Dogsfinally has a release date, and there’s a newDragon Age: Inquisitiontrailer. On a less fun note,Mad Catz announceda partnership with Ouya, and on a downright depressing note, Disney Interactivehas laid off 700 employees.
However, there’s a bunch of crazy weird news:Shaq-Fuis (hopefully)getting a sequel,Goat Simulatoris going to be an actual game, andAkiba’s Trip 2,a Japanese game about punching vampires till their clothes come off, will actually be released in the west. Finally, a couple pieces of movie news: there’s feature film in the works based onThe Last of Us, which seems sort of redundant to me, but that newTransformersmovie involves Optimus Prime living in Mark Wahlberg’s barn, which is even more ridiculous than robot dinosaurs.
