Now that theFirestorm battle royale modeis available forBattlefield 5, many are likely ready to drop into DICE and Criterion Games' variation of the increasingly popular BR genre. Once players land, they’ll quickly learn that their starting inventory is small, allowing just two primary guns, a secondary, and four gadgets slot (two of which are locked to grenades and healing items, respectively).
Moreover, backpacks will extend these gadget slots, but that doesn’t mean players should pick up everything they find. Selectively picking is important, especially given that players will be able to carry 4 different ammo types at once, each specific to a certain weapon type. There are 16 primary weapons currently available, with each divided into three rarity tiers: Common, Rare, and Epic, with these tied to the number of attachments and specializations equipped to the weapon. Firestorm players will want to match ammo to guns quickly, so here is every gun currently in theBattlefield 5battle royale mode.

StG 44
MG 42

12g Automatic

Sidearms and Melee Weapons
Although sidearms do not have a rarity tier, it’s worth highlighting thatBattlefield 5’s Firestorm mode has a unique approach to the downed state. After downed, players can still use their sidearm to attempt to do damage to their killers. So, instead of just waiting to be thirsted by the enemy or waiting to be revived by allies, Firestorm players can use their sidearm to try to even the playing field.
