Although official gameplay details forBorderlands 3are set to go live on May 1 at 10 AM PT, several details have appeared online as a result of various leaks. Among these,Zane the Operative’s skill trees forBorderlands 3leaked and he was joined shortly after by Amara the Siren’s skill trees leaking. This means that FL4K the Beastmaster and Moze the Bot Jock are the only ones whose skill trees remain sealed for the time being.
Amara’s three skill trees are dubbed Brawl, Mystical Assault, and Fist of the Elements. This extensive look at her three skill trees follows the recent reveal of a few of theSiren’sBorderlands 3skill tree abilitiesthat only gave a small sneak peek.
Amara’s action skill for the Brawl skill tree is Phaseslam which sees theBorderlands 3siren jump into the air and slam into the ground, damaging all nearby enemies. The capstone ability is known as Blitz and overrides Amara’s standard melee option. It sees her dash forward at an enemy and perform a special melee strike that deals elemental damage, and if an enemy were to die as a result of this Blitz ability, its cooldown is immediately reset.
For the Mystical assault skill tree, Amara gets a Phasecast action skill where she sends out an astral projection of herself dealing damage to everything in her path. In other words, this is a straight line ability as opposed to the AOE of the Brawl skill tree’s Phaseslam. The finalBorderlands 3ability of this tree, Avatar, gives Amara the ability to use Phasecast once again while it is cooling down, but only once per cooldown can she do this. Doing so will also increase her maximum Rush stacks.
Her final tree, Fist of the Elements, gives Amara the ability to summon a giant fist and hold enemies in place, similar to Maya’sBorderlands 2siren ability, giving thisBorderlands 3character classoptions of controlling enemy movements. Baddies who are immune to the Grasped status will take damage instead. The final ability, Forceful Expression, gives Amara’s guns bonus elemental damage based on the element of her Fists ability.
Borderlands 3is scheduled to release on July 24, 2025 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
