Recently, Activision and Tencent released aCall of Duty Mobilecommunity update that teased a “classic” would be appearing in the mobile shooter on Monday, October 14. Now that October 14 has come, we know that the “classic” the developers were referring to was none other than the fan favorite multiplayer mode Gun Game, which is live inCall of Duty Mobileright now for a limited time.

Gun Game inCall of Duty Mobilefunctions as one would expect if they’ve played it in the home consoleCall of Dutygames. Everyone starts with the same gun, and each kill lets players advance to the next weapon. The final weapons are the most difficult to get kills with, as players have to use sniper rifles, pistols, and finally, a knife. The first player to get a kill with all of the weapons wins the match.

Call of Duty Mobile’s Gun Game will be available for a month’s time. While it’s live, players will have special quests to complete that will help them earn extra XP and level up their battle pass. In the meantime, fans can expectCall of Duty Mobileto be updated with new content like this on a regular basis. After all,Call of Duty Mobilehas already proven to be a smash hit, and the developers will want to support it for the long-term. It’s hard to say exactly what future updates will bring toCall of Duty Mobile, but we do know that a Zombies mode of some kind is in the works for the mobile game.
