Call of Duty: Modern Warfareis filled with a variety of melee weapons for players to beat each other with. Each weapon varies in speed, range, and damage, which causes players to constantly argue about which one is the best in the game. OneModern Warfarefan has a new answer to that question as they present a unique build for a legendary SMG.
TheUzi inModern Warfareis a lightweight SMG that rarely comes up in conversation. Although it is not a bad weapon, there are definitely better SMGs available for players to use in the game. That is until one Reddit fan noticed something odd about the attachment numbers.

The Uzi is designed to be a mid-range assault weapon for close-quarter engagements. The low range and ammo capacity make it perfect for short confrontations while the mobility helps and operators perform hit-and-run style tactics. Reddit userRafiqul84 noticed that mobility was one of the Uzi’s natural bonuses, and when combined with extra mobility attachments players could run faster than theKali Sticks or Knife primary weapons.

Once they figured out the speed all that was left was the damage. By adding a Breacher Device to the front muzzle players are able to bash in the enemy’s face at crazy speeds. Stat wise this makestheModern WarfareUzi faster than the knifeand more damaging then the kali sticks, earning it a quick reputation for being one of the best melee options in the game.
Players in the comments were quick to point out the lack of aesthetics in going through with this plan but could temper their judgment with the sheer success rate of each hit. Players have found that completing breacher challenges has never been easier, and the rage reaction of the other team makes it a weapon worthy of being wielded inCall of Duty.
All of this is possible because of theMercenary Foregrip’s hidden movement speed buff. The fact that this attachment effects move speed, although it does not explicitly state that it does, has a huge impact on the viability of this build.
