Shortly after allCall of Dutysocial media went dark, developer Infinity Ward and publisher Activision confirmed the official reveal date and time for the forthcomingCall of Duty: Modern Warfare(akaCall of Duty 2019). It will take place on Thursday, May 30 at 10 AM PT / 1 PM PT and likely help clarify many of the things currently unknown about the title.

Unfortunately, this teaser (seen below) does little more than confirm the reveal date and time, but there is the voice of a woman saying, “I got a problem. It can be anywhere…” It’s unclear if this reveal will be story-focused or multiplayer focused, but given the voice over, the former seems more likely. The game is all but officially confirmed to beCall of Duty: Modern Warfareand a soft reboot of the franchise, but what the latter exactly means remains to be seen.

However, whatever is not showcased at the worldwide reveal will likely appear at E3 2019, meaning fans could reasonably expect to see both story and multiplayer over the next few weeks. The story is reportedly inspired byCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 2’s “No Russian” level, which suggests a darker tone and approach to storytelling.

If so, and assuming that the voice over does suggest a story reveal, then a glimpse at these No Russian-inspired moments may very well come on Thursday. If this doesn’t prove to be the case, it has also been rumored thatCall of Duty: Modern Warfare’s campaign is a remake ofModern Warfare 2, and many fans would likely expect some confirmation as far as that is concerned with a story reveal.

More onCall of Duty: Modern Warfarewill be revealed tomorrow on May 30, but the major release later this fall isn’t the onlyCall of Dutyproject in the works. ACall of Duty: Mobilebattle royale project is also set to launch later this year, and details concerning it andCall of Duty: Mobile’s six different classeshave recently been made available as well.
