A blacked-out version of the “Beast” marking can be seen on the top of their hand, which is a reference to a gameplay feature found within theBlack Ops 3map Shadows of Evil.

Fans of theBlack Ops 2map Mob of the Deadwill recognize this image as the Afterlife symbol, which was also a gameplay feature on the map. These two maps share a lot in common, both visually and thematically, placing players within some demented versions of purgatory. There are still plenty of zombies to slay, but Shadows of Evil and Mob of the Dead feature some of the series' most intriguing and hellish storylines.
