Following its launch for PC back in 2015, Paradox Interactive and Colossal Order’s city-building and construction simulator,Cities: Skylines, has released a slew of different add-ons, such as the first paid expansion known asAfter Dark. Now, the publisher and developer have announced plans to release yet another expansion for the title, by revealing that the DLC dubbedIndustriesis coming this month.

As seen below inCities: Skylines' announcement trailer for itsIndustriesexpansion, players will be able to create factories while also managing supply and production chains. What’s more is that the DLC also adds five new maps, new policies, new city services, new buildings, and much more. Those looking forward to the add-on won’t have to wait too much longer, as it’s set to release on October 23, and it will be priced at $15 upon launch.

For those who haven’t been keeping up withCities: Skylines' post-launch life cycle, Paradox Interactive and Colossal Order’s introduction ofIndustrieswill be the game’s ninth expansion, and it is the second one to come out this year. Earlier in May 2018, to be specific, the publisher and developer released the expansion known asParklife, which brought new amusement parks, nature reserves, city parks, and zoos, as well as custom parks and gardens.

As many city-building and construction sim fans will likely attest,Cities: Skylineshas managed to establish itself as a solid alternative to 2013’s lackluster debut of the newestSimCity, and its steady stream of expansions have kept the title feeling fresh. And with such a robust selection of add-ons from which to choose–theNatural Disastersexpansionhas proven to be a fan-favorite, for instance–it seems as if Paradox Interactive and Colossal Order has made sure that each piece of DLC does its best to add an extra flavor of variety into the mix.

Cities: Skylinesis available now for Linux, Mac, Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
