Cyberpunk 2077is well known for the many bugs and glitches that found their way into the game, but it also features a number of Easter eggs added intentionally by the developers. One Easter egg that was recently discovered byCyberpunk 2077players even congratulates them for successfully finding it.
Some ofCyberpunk 2077’s Easter eggs, such astheMortal Kombat Easter egg, have received flack for being more like marketing attempts than fun hidden secrets. However, the Easter egg that’s only discoverable by parkouring to a secret location in the Santo Domingo area - specifically, almost to the very top of a building beside a construction site with ‘Arasaka’ written on the side - is a return to classic Easter egg form.

Redditor Feeltherush2132 was the first to spot the Easter egg after using the Flying Katana glitch to ascend the building, but YouTuber DefaultDanielS found a way to get up there without using glitches. Both of them discovered a large ledge with two chests that spawns a giant message reading “WELL DONE” when the player gets close enough. It is generally agreed thatCyberpunk 2077was a game too ambitious for its own good, but players may be pleased to find the game rewarding player ambition.
The level designer behind this Easter egg has come forward on Twitter, identifying himself as Philipp Weber, Acting Lead Quest Designer at CD Projekt RED for bothCyberpunk 2077andThe Witcher. Weber explains that when he gets a bug where players manage to get somewhere they aren’t supposed to, he leaves a little reward for the players in question instead of blocking off the area. Apparently, that’s what happened here, which may be good in the long run. TheCyberpunk 2077developers are still working on bug fixes, so taking out small-scale issues like determined players ending up on a very specific ledge might waste valuable time and effort.
As of writing, fans appear to be generally in favor of the Easter egg, but soon began discussingreal glitches they’d encountered inCyberpunk 2077. One Redditor began discussing how they stopped playing the game after realizing their stealth accomplishments were meaningless, though it appears they accidentally used a better disguise than they realized. Another user complained about the differences between rooftops, with some being detailed and others using LOD models. A third noted the Easter egg reminded them of aGrand Theft Auto 3with a similar sign. While the reaction is a bit mixed due to the state of the game, most would probably agree that the Easter egg itself is interesting.
