Fortunately, fans don’t have to wait much longer because it’s only a month until the game is out exclusively on PlayStation 4. For those who can not even wait a month, there is an intense new trailer out now forDeath Stranding, and this new trailer shows how Sam Bridges, portrayed by Norman Reedus, is struggling against a world full of threats.

InDeath Stranding, almost all life has been eradicated by a mysterious apocalypse, and the dead have invaded the world. Still, Sam is on a mission to reconnect the people of the world. He delivers cargo from hub to hub to restore the BRIDGES network and faces off against a myriad threats along his journey. This trailer gives players a cinematic look at the groups of enemies trying to stop Sam from reconnecting the people of the world.

A group of enemies equipped with hi-tech weapons approaches Sam, but it’s unclear if they are after his cargo or the golden Bridge Baby, who willtalk to players through the PS4 controller. Luckily, Sam manages to fend them off with his lasso weapon. However, one of the bad guys manages to hit Sam with the electric staff causing him to stumble and drop the precious cargo. At the end of the trailer, one of the shadowy figures also makes an appearance, and it’s similar to the ones that were shown in previousDeath Strandingpromotions.

It’s been nearly three years sinceDeath Strandingwas first announced, and so far, the promotional material for the game has built up some serious hype. However, it remains to be seen how well the game performs and what kind of responses it generates from both the critics and the players.Death Strandinghas already gone gold, which means the game has reached the final stage of completion and is ready to be shipped out. This also means that there won’t be any more changes to the core gameplay until the release except for some bug fixes here and there.
