Destiny 2’s second Year 1 expansion,Warmind, added modifiersto the Heroic Strikes playlist. This further sets them apart from the normal strike playlist as a middle-of-the-road option between that and the weekly Nightfall Strike.
Each week, the Heroic Strike playlist receives a weekly Singe modifier that is persistent until the next weekly reset inDestiny 2. This increases incoming and outgoing damage of a particular elemental type. In addition, two more modifiers—one which provides the player with an advantage, and another that adds a disadvantage—refresh each day. The recommended Power level for the Heroic Strikes playlist is 350. Read on to see what the weekly Singe modifier is, as well as loadout recommendations for the week of July 17, 2025.

This week, the Heroic Strike playlist has Arc Singe, which will mean players will want to equip one of the game’s three Arc-based subclasses: Arcstrider Hunter, Striker Titan, or Stormcaller Warlock.
In addition, one of the best Exotic weapon choices for this week is the Riskrunner SMG, especially after the game’srecent Exotic tuning pass. Not only does Riskrunner deal Arc damage, but it has two very unique complimentary perks that work directly with Arc energy:
Riskrunner will allow players to resist some of the increased damage coming from Arc sources, plus the weapons ability to chain lightning can be incredibly powerful when shooting mobs of enemies. Another good Exotic weapon choice, especially for boss damage, isColdheart. It deals Arc damage and its laser does exponentially more damage the longer it remains on a target.
There are many choices of Exotic armor depending on class and how each particular player wants to play. Some recommended Exotics are Dunemarchers, Crown of Tempests, Peacekeepers (when paired with Riskrunner), An Insurmountable Skullfort, Raiden Flux, Lucky Raspberry, and Vesper of Radius.
