And yes, the dragons are wearing jetpacks

For a long while now, we’ve seen howDivinity: Dragon Commanderis mashing up real-time strategy, role-playing game elements, and directly controlled aerial combat featuring jetpack dragons. It’s certainly a unique combination of ideas, and therecently released materialseems to show those ideas coming together fairly well.

To add to its repertoire,Dragon Commanderis also positioning itself as a highly competitive game, as seen in the video above. A couple of the testers go at it, while commentators try to keep up with the action. It seems a bit hectic for all but the most elite players, but I can imagine playing at that level being particularly rewarding.
