The New Arcanist Class
It’s beena while since a new Class was added toThe Elder Scrolls Online, so fans are understandably intrigued by the Arcanist and what they might be able to accomplish with their formidable magicka abilities. The six current classes inElder Scrolls Online– Necromancers, Wardens, Dragonknights, Sorcerers, Nightblades, and Templars – do involve some magical skillsets within their ranks, but the addition of the Arcanist adds a new dimension to the arcane arts and offers a more expansive option for players wanting to occupy that specific space.
Described on theElder Scrolls Onlinewebsite as masters of the “secret and forbidden knowledge of Apocrypha,” the Arcanist is “a powerful new class capable of destructive, restorative, or defensive magic by channeling arcane energies, ancient runes, and lost tomes of power.” Similar in some respects to the Necromancer Class, the Arcanist has the capability to both harm and healthrough magical methods, and this makes them a versatile choice that can operate as either offense, defense, or support in a player party. With moves like Apocryphal Gate to enable instantaneous portal travel and Abyssal Impact to deal damage, the Arcanist could be a popular addition toThe Elder Scrolls Online.
The Elder Scrolls Onlineis available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
