My Friend Pedro, one of themost acclaimed indie titlesin recent memory, is now inFall Guys.My Friend Pedrois a side-scrolling shoot ‘em up, developed by DeadToast Entertainment and published by Devolver Digital. Devolver also publishedFall Guys, which likely made the deal that much easier.

The cover ofMy Friend Pedro, showing off a smiling banana, may be as well-known as the game itself. So, that same banana joiningFall Guysas a skinmakes perfect sense. According to the announcement Tweet by the officialFall Guysaccount, the new skin has “slid into stores” and is available now.
TheMy Friend Pedroskin works well with the cute nature ofFall Guys, but the game has already added skins from more realistic or mature titles with a cuter bent, such as recentPortaloutfits added in collaboration with Valve.Thus Mediatonic, the developer ofFall Guys, has already shown it is able to stretch out and create skins for many different styles of game.
When it comes to other Developer Digital titles, there are quite a few possibilities forFall Guyscontent:Gris, TheMessenger,andHotline Miami,one of the publisher’s bigger hits, would be welcome additions. With the success ofFall Guys, the addition of new skins, and constant fan feedback for content ideas, it is likely that Mediatonic will continue to expand on its roster of available outfits. Perhaps there will be more of an emphasis on some Devolver Digital titles in the future, but until then this funny and cute banana skin is a good get for players.
