Following the recent release of theFar HarborDLC forFallout 4, the expansion has been mired with a number of performance issues, especially forPlayStation 4 players. Bethesda was quick to recognize the problem, and after taking to its official forums to reassure players that the development team is “actively working on more improvements”, it was expected that aFar Harborbug fixwould come in the form of a patch. As it turns out, the PS4 performance fix is going to be a bit bigger than a simple patch.
In order to address theFar Harborperformance issues on the PS4,Fallout 4players will have to re-download the whole expansion again. Rather than simply patching the DLC, Bethesda opted to fix all performance issues by releasing an updated version ofFar Harboron the North American PlayStation Store. For those who are unaware on how to re-downloadFar Harbor, Bethesda also posted up a series of instructions:
It must be noted that this fix is currently only available for North American players, and gamers from the EU side of the world will unfortunately have to wait a little bit longer for the updated version ofFar Harbor.

Given thesheer size of theFar HarborDLC, some bugs and issues were to be expected, though not quite on the level as this. Having said that, when the expansion is running well,Far Harboris a worthy addition toFallout 4according to ourreview of the DLC.
While PS4 players have had to deal with these performance issues, Xbox One players have had an easier time withFar Harborand all the recently-releasedFallout 4content.Console mods forFallout 4were launched for the Xbox One just days ago, and the fan response was so positive that Bethesda were quick to declare the launch to be a “major success” and that more features will be coming in the future.
