Winter is coming as Ned Starkwould say, and so are the PC games holiday sales. This week several digital gaming retailers have already begun slashing prices – notable pick among them isFinal Fantasytitles.
Just ahead of next weeks release ofFinal Fantasy XIII-2, GMG launched aSquare Enix salewith a focus on FF titles. Most games are on sale at 50% off, while those that aren’t included can use the typical 20% off coupon.
On Thursday GOG started their Winter Sale with up to 90% offover 750 DRM-free titles. Just like a Steam Store sale, you’ll find Daily Deals and Flash Sales refreshed throughout the event. The sale runs through December 15th.
Earlier in the week, (Swedish retailer) GamersGate also started their 2014 Holiday Sale with price cuts onhundreds of games and DLC packs. There are new Daily Deals launched every 24 hours through December 22nd. The discounts are on your more traditional Steam/Origin/Uplay AAA titles and go as high as 80% off.
One less-than-impressive sales to launch this week is Origin Store’sAdrenaline Sale. While Origin had some decent deals on Black Friday/Cyber Monday, this is mostly the same games at smaller price cut (meh). That said, there are still a few gems such as $15Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare(if that’s your thing).
