Fortnite’sSeason 3 Week 3 challengesare now live, and they are giving players a chance to earn some XP and make progress on the battle pass. One of these new weekly challenges instructs fans to land a Choppa at the bottom of Steamy Stacks, and this guide will provide full details on exactly how that is done.
The first step to landing a Choppa at the bottom of Steamy Stacks inFortniteis to procure a Helicopter, and the one located at the Yacht is a good target for those players that are trying to complete this weekly challenge. For the uninitiated, the Yacht can be found floating in the water at the very north end of the map, and indeed it is quite close to Steamy Stacks.

However, many players will likely be looking to use the Choppa at the Yacht to complete this weekly challenge, due to its proximity to Steamy Stacks, which may leave some fans searching for alternatives. Fortunately, players can findHelicopters inFortnitejust east of Frenzy Farms and at The Authority, and both of these Choppas are perfectly suitable for the challenge if the one at the Yacht is unavailable.
Once a player has taken control of a Helicopter, they should then pilot it toSteamy Stacks, which is found at the north-east corner of the map. They should then fly the Choppa into one of the stacks and take it all the way to the bottom, landing it in the purple liquid. Now all a fan must do is hold the Helicopter in this position, and eventuallyFortnite’s land a Choppa at the bottom of Steamy Stacks challenge should register as complete.
To note, someFortnitefansare currently reporting that they are unable to finish this challenge, and unfortunately there does not seem to be a consistent workaround for the issue at this time. One thing to try is to simply hold the Helicopter down in the purple liquid for longer, giving the challenge some additional time to register as complete, but if that does not work then players may need to start over in another match and hope for better results.
