I’m convinced that the new leakedGenshin Impact6.0 characters will mark the end of a classic gameplay mechanic that has been available since the beginning – and even though it won’t go away entirely, it will stop being used.Version 6.0 is the next patch for HoYoverse’s action RPG, which will stray away from Natlan and move into Nod-Krai. There, players will be a whole new list ofNod-Krai characters inGenshin Impact.
HoYoverse has already teased several of the characters that players will meet as NPCs and later incorporate into their ranks as playable units. However, some more will likely be revealed as the game progresses further. One of the announced units is Aino, aleaked HydroGenshin Impact6.0 characterexpected to bring the end of an era for some F2P players.

Elemental DMG May Be More Important Than Ever In Genshin Impact 6.0
New Reactions Arrive With Nod-Krai
As has been indicated by the new character kit leaks registered onHoney Hunter World,Elemental DMG may become even more important than before with the arrival of Version 6.0 and its playable units. According to the leaks aboutFlins and Lauma inGenshin Impact6.0, both units will offer Lunar-based reaction variants for Electro-Charged and Bloom, called Lunar-Charged and Lunar-Bloom, respectively.
These new Lunar reaction variants have a chance of landing CRIT hits, making them more valuable than regular Reactions. Additionally, all three of the leaked characters in Version 6.0 (namely Flins, Lauma, and Aino) have bonuses related to Elemental Masteryin their leaked kits. This highlights just how important Elemental DMG and Reaction DMG will be moving forward.

Physical DMG May Never Make A Comeback In Genshin Impact
Characters Like Eula May Become Obsolete
With this much investment into new versions of Elemental Reactions and the DMG potential that they have,I’m convinced that this will also be the end of an era for Physical DMG. This classic gameplay mechanic, mastered by units like Eula, Razor, andFreminet inGenshin Impact, won’t be discarded entirely, but it should lose even more value.
Physical DMG is already a lot weaker than DMG triggered by Reactions, but it could hit an all-time low with the new Lunar reaction variants. Effectively, there may not be a reason to use Physical DMG in Nod-Krai or any future locations if the damage output isn’t enoughto keep up with the challenge posed by the new enemies.

Overall, it seems like the Elemental and Reaction DMG caused byLauma inGenshin Impact6.0, for example, will be far superior to a Physical DMG-focused unit. It’s hardly a sad end for a completely underused type of DMG in a game centered around Elemental Reactions, but Nod-Krai characters do seem to mark the end of an era for Physical DMG players inGenshin Impact.
