You can start pre-farming Ifa’s materials inGenshin Impactin case you desire to fully Ascend him and upgrade his Talents to the maximum level. Ifa is one of the two new playable characters arriving with Version 5.6, alongside Escoffier.HoYoverse has confirmed that Ifa is an Anemo character from Natlan, following his presentation as an NPC in the World Quests added with Version 5.5. However, amidst the lack of more details about his gameplay abilities,Ifa’s leaked kit inGenshin Impact5.6has revealed how he should work in battle.
According to the leaks about his gameplay kit, Ifa will use his Elemental Skill to enter the Nightsoul’s Blessing state and hover around with the help of Cacucu. While in this state, Ifa can fire special Normal Attacks against opponents to deal Anemo DMG. Meanwhile,Ifa can also use these same attacks to heal his allies, making his kit somewhat resemble Barbara’s. Ifa can also help the team with crowd control, as he can use his Elemental Burst to fire a powerful shot at an enemy and create a wind current inGenshin Impactthat pulls in nearby opponents.

All Ifa Materials In Genshin Impact Have Leaked
Pre-Farming Can Be Risky
If you want to use Ifa at his maximum potential, the first thing you’ll need to do is to Ascend and take him to level 90, as well as upgrade his Talents. This requires pre-farming Ifa’s materials. As of now, developer HoYoverse hasn’t revealed what materials Ifa will use, butleaks have detailed the item types and how many of each that need to be collected. The set ofIfa’s materials inGenshin Impacthas been leaked and shared onHoney Hunter World. Interested players may start pre-farming them based on those leaks.
Pre-farming is a great strategy that allows you to quickly upgrade the character as soon as you obtain them, reducing the time spent grinding after they are already in your roster. However, pre-farming Ifa’s materials can come at a risk:because they are based on leaks, these listed materials are still subject to change before the character is released. As such, some of your farming efforts may be turned to waste if HoYoverse decides to change the required materials inGenshin Impact. If you are comfortable with that risk, however, I’d recommend pre-farming.

Ascension Materials To Pre-Farm For Ifa In Genshin Impact
Use The Interactive Map To Optimize Your Farming Efforts
Because Ifa is a confirmed Anemo character, you’re able to safely pre-farm Vayuda Turquoise stones. These materials will likely not change because Ifa’s element will likely not change. Vayuda Turquoise stones can be farmed from Anemo-related bosses in the game, such as Tenebrous Papilla, Maguu Kenki, Solitary Suanni, Stormterror, and Shouki no Kami, the Prodigal.Unfortunately, you can’t combine farming Vayuda Turquoise with world boss materials, because the world boss material that Ifa uses drops from a boss that doesn’t drop Vayuda Turquoise stones.
The table below lists all of Ifa’s Ascension materials inGenshin Impactand their quantities, divided per level threshold and summed at the end:

-
According to the leaks, Sparkless Statue Core is the weekly boss material that Ifa consumes for his Ascension.Sparkless Statue Core drops exclusively from the Lava Dragon Statue world boss located in Atocpan within the Natlan region. For reference, Lava Dragon Statue is the new world boss added in Version 5.5. So far, Sparkless Statue Core has only been used inVaresa’s Ascension inGenshin Impact, but Ifa may change that.

The Local Specialty material for Ifa is Saurian Claw Succulent, according to the leaks. This material can be found around the Sulfurous Veins area in Natlan. You’ll need to collect a total of 168 copies of this item, and there are only 90 nodes to collect from on the map. This means you’ll need to go through at least two farming routes on separate days to collect all that is needed, mainly because Local Specialties only respawn 48 hours after they are collected.
Don’t forget to use the official Interactive Map onHoYoLABto filter the exact location of all the Saurian Claw Succulents in Natlan, therefore allowing you to have a better time farming.

You’ll also need to farm Juvenile Fang, Seasoned Fang, and Tyrant’s Fang, which drop from Natlan Saurians, which can be found all across the Nation of Pyro. These aren’t guaranteed drops, so you’ll need to defeat several Saurians. Furthermore, these three materials, which are all part of the same item family, are also needed for Ifa’s Talent-leveling process, so be sure to farm as much as you may. Like the Local Specialty, you can also use the Interactive Map to filter Saurian locations inGenshin Impact.
Lastly, you’ll also need to invest Mora into Ifa’s materials to enable the Ascension process. To unlock all of the level thresholds, you’ll spend 420,000 Mora, but you’ll also spend an extra 1,673,400 Mora if you’re leveling up Ifa with Character EXP Materials. If you need extra Mora or Character EXP Materials, farm them at Blossom of Wealth or Blossom of Revelation activities, respectively. I recommend doing these activities in Natlan so as to farm extra Fang materials for Ifa because they give you a chance of encounteringNatlan Saurians inGenshin Impact.

Talent Materials To Pre-Farm For Ifa In Genshin Impact
The Weekly Boss Material Can’t Be Pre-Farmed
As was mentioned, you’ll need Fang materials for Ifa’s Talents. Extra copies can also be purchased monthly from Paimon’s Bargains. Additionally, Ifa’s leaked Talent materials also list the Justice books.Teachings of Justice, Guide to Justice, and Philosophies of Justice can be farmed exclusively from the Blazing Ruins Domain in Natlan, but only on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Talent books are some of the toughest materials to pre-farm for Ifa because of thedaily farming limitations inGenshin Impact, so starting to pre-farm these sooner rather than later is recommended.
Mora
The leak also shows that Ifa consumes a currently unknown weekly boss material. Represented by what seems like a pawn chess piece, this weekly boss material hasn’t had its name leaked just yet, but it is known that it will be dropped from theleaked new weekly boss inGenshin Impact5.6, which will be located in Mondstadt.Pre-farming this will be impossible, and it could take months for you to gather all the necessary copies to fully upgrade Ifa’s Talents.
Like any other character in the game, Ifa will also require one Crown of Insight to upgrade each Talent to the maximum level – for a total of three. Crown of Insight can be obtained as a reward for certain limited-time events, reputation systems, the battle pass, and can be purchased monthly at Paimon’s Bargains. Lastly, you’ll also need to spend a whopping 4,957,500 Mora to upgrade all of Ifa’s Talents to the maximum level inGenshin Impact, so start pre-farming everything now to reduce your efforts once you have him.
