In addition to a collaboration withThe Terminatorfranchise, the game also saw the return of Sam Fisher from Ubisoft’sSplinter Cellfranchise. In the latest Ubisoft Forward, it was announced that Sam Fisher would be brought toRainbow Six Siege, and the inclusion ofFisher brings all three franchises together under one universe.
Earlier this year,Ghost Recon: Breakpointreceived the Immersion Modeupdate that focused on reinventing the style of gameplay from the original release. Immersion Mode provides players the option to remove tiered gear and weapons in an effort to resemble the previous entry in the series,Ghost Recon: Wildlands, alongside other survival and stealth elements like limited HUD interference.
Another addition to the game brought on by Ubisoft’s reinvention wasAI teammates inGhost Recon: Breakpoint. Though an integral part of the series prior,Ghost Recon: Breakpointlaunched with a solo hero and no ability to direct other soldiers. AI teammates bring back a classic feeling to the game, as players can now dictate the approach of a mission by directing other soldiers. It will be interesting to see how an improved Gunsmith feature further helps improve the game.
