After Thor is able to freeze Godzilla, the Hand retrieve a shard of All-Black the Necrosword - the first ever symbiote created by Knull, and the iconic weapon of Gorr the God-Butcher. The Hand merge this eldritch weapon with Godzilla,creating"Godzilla the God Butcher."

Its atomic breath is capable of destroying"entire worlds"and even when Thor summons the Superstorm - a cosmic hurricane as big as a galaxy - Godzilla still doesn’t fall.
The fight is easily Thor’s greatest of all time, withthe struggle between Thor and Godzilla annihilating Asgardand damaging the World Tree itself. Ultimately, Thor channels the Superstorm through Mjolnir into a single blast, just as Godzilla unleashes a concentrated beam of necro-breath. The blast kills them both, yet the comic reveals that even in the afterlife, god and monster remain joined in an eternal battle in the realm of Hel.
