Twitter user @PuppetCombo offered their take on the pick 3 trend that has Twitter in an uproar, making fans choose between 35 popular horror franchises and getting rid of the remaining options. Thanks tostreaming platforms and the popularity of VRthere is no shortage of ways to experience survival-horror games nowadays so the challenge is pretty difficult for fans of the genre.

Among some of the optionsDead Spacehas been found on a number of user’s lists. This isn’t a surprise as the series, despite its lower-than-expected sales, saw multiple entries including games, books, and movies. The game has seen the top trending list before with similar topics trending asking for its return orre-release akin to EA’s other popular franchise,Skate 4.
Dead Spacehas had a unique few weeks. RecentlyDead Spacestory writer Antony Johnsonteased on Twitter that his next big project would be shown at Sony’s PS5 revealevent and rumors quickly spread that Sony may have some involvement in the project. Antony has since clarified his project had not debuted at the event and that he had no knowledge of any newDead Spaceproject from EA. This news was compounded by other recent rumors hinting atSony’s involvement in reviving theSilent Hillfranchise, though no news has come from that rumor as well.
Dead Spacepushed many boundaries with its release in October of 2008. The game was celebrated for its clever use of HUD to show a players health and inventory as well as allowing players to move while shooting, something theResident Evilfranchise did not do with its follow up in 2009,Resident Evil 5. Though it seems like the franchise is still on ice,EA Play Live may be the next opportunity for a successful resurgencewhen it goes live later today.
