Best Light Cone
Back to All Characters
Light Cones inHonkai: Star Railcan be used by all characters, but the passive will only work if the wielder is of the matching Path as the weapon. Therefore, it’s a big shame that Topaz, whose playstyle revolves around follow-up attacks, can’t use an excellent Light Cone likeJing Yuan’s best weapon inHonkai: Star Rail, Before Dawn.
Instead, people are stuck with weapons of the Hunt, which can really limit Topaz’s options. Fortunately, there are still a decent number of options for thebest Topaz weapons inHonkai: Star Rail, like the following.

740
370

264
S5 Passive
When the wearer defeats an enemy, increases ATK by 48% for 3 turn(s).
Darting Arrow should only beused by new Trailblazersas its performance is far lower compared to the other options. It grants ATK for three turns after the wearer defeats an enemy, which is great, but the passive can be wasted against a single opponent.

476

396
After entering battle, increases the wearer’s SPD by 12% and DMG by 24%. When the wearer takes DMG, this effect will disappear. This effect will resume after the end of the wearer’s next turn.

River Flows in Spring can be obtained for free from the Forgotten Hall shop, and it’s also given by completing Operation Briefing (Part 2) of the Interastral Guide. At S5, it’s better than S1 Return to Darkness.
529

330
S1 Passive
Increases the wearer’s CRIT Rate by 12%. After a CRIT Hit, there is a 16~32% fixed chance to dispel 1 buff on the target enemy. This effect can only trigger 1 time per attack.
Return to Darkness can be a great weapon once it reaches its final Superimposition, but since it’s only obtainable via the Battle Pass, it currently has limited performance.

1058
582

463
Increases the wearer’s CRIT Rate by 18%. While the wearer is in battle, for every 10 SPD that exceeds 100, the DMG of the wearer’s Basic ATK and Skill is increased by 6% and the CRIT DMG of their Ultimate is increased by 12%. This effect can stack up to 6 time(s).

In the Night is a great stat stick for Topaz, but the passive is lacking since she mostly plays around follow-up attacks. It’s better thanS1 Only Silence RemainsandS1 Swordplaybut falls short when the two four-star weapons are S5.
952

Increases the wearer’s ATK by 16%. If there are 2 or fewer enemies on the field, increases wearer’s CRIT Rate by 12%.
Only Silence Remains is an excellent Hunt weapon, and since its passive is not move-dependent, it works great for Topaz & Numby. If the passive is fulfilled, this weapon can outperform Swordplay, but otherwise, Swordplay takes precedence. This means the Light Cone can be unstable in terms of performance.
For each time the wearer hits the same target, DMG dealt increases by 8%, stacking up to 5 time(s). This effect will be dispelled when the wearer changes targets.
Swordplay is especially excellent for the fact that Numby’s multi-hit adds one stack for every hit, meaning she can easily max the weapon’s stacks in one attack.
Increases the wearer’s CRIT rate by 16%, and increases their CRIT rate against enemies with HP less than or equal to 50% by an extra 16%. When the wearer defeats an enemy, their ATK is increased by 40% for 2 turn(s).
Cruising in the Stellar Sea’s performance depends on the passive’s availability, but in general, this Light Cone is one of thebest weapons for Topaz inHonkai: Star Rail.
Increase the wearer’s CRIT Rate by 18% and their follow-up attacks' DMG by 30%. After the wearer uses a follow-up attack, apply the Tame state to the target, stacking up to 2 stacks. When allies hit enemy targets under the Tame state, every Tame stack increases the CRIT DMG dealt by 12%.
Worrisome, Blissful is not only excellent for Topaz’sweapon inHonkai: Star Rail, but to also buff any follow-up damage dealers. This can make units like Clara deal far higher damage. Clara also synergizes insanely with Numby, making this Light Cone the absolute best option for the IPC lady.
