Update 1.21 forHorizon Forbidden Westadds some useful quality-of-life features to the game. DeveloperGuerrilla Games has released several updates forHorizon Forbidden Westsince its release in 2022, focusing on fixing bugs and making other improvements to the overall user experience.

Some of these updates were focused on addingquality-of-life enhancements toHorizon Forbidden West, such as patch 1.09 which allowed users to turn off pick-up animations in the game. Before this update launched, an animation would play out every time players picked up an item, including situations where Aloy was on a mount. This would sometimes disrupt the flow of the game, as gamers were likely to pick up tons of resources from the surrounding area. Now, Guerrilla Games has released another update for the game adding even more accessibility features.
