XDefiant’s core gameplay focuses on team-based modes that require communication from each squad member. If things go wrong during a match and your team loses, you can still give kudos to your digital buddies if you wish to do so. This is where ‘high-fiving’ comes into play. For those who would like to earn the ‘High-Fivist’ Trophy/Achievement or just give props to a teammate, this guide will come in handy.
The High-Fivist achievement inXDefiantrequires you to send (or receive) 20 High-Fives. Unfortunately, there are only thirteen achievements to unlock forXDefiant, and there’s not even aPlatinum trophy on PS5.

How to Send High Fives in XDefiant
It’s not technically a “High-Five”
The only way to get or send high fives inXDefiantis on the post-match screen. Once you win (or lose) a game, you’ll be taken to a screen that shows your teammates standing next to one another. And even if you lose, it’ll show impressive stats for each player. For example, you might have the most kills out of everyone on your team, or you took over bases more than others.
If you really liked how a certain player performed during the match, you canpress the Send Emoji button (A on Xbox, X on PS5) to essentially “thumbs up” your buddy. This acts as a high five and goes towards unlocking the achievement/trophy. You also get some XP for high-fiving, so ensure to do it after each match.

You can only “high five” one player per match. You can also click on a player’s profile to add them as a friend or to check out some other information about them.
Play as best as possible during team-based matches to earn as many thumbs-ups from your teammates.
