What Does the Thunderbrew Potion Do?
After taking a swig of the Thunderbrew Potion, players will immediately see thunderstorms surrounding them, which willstun and cause damage to nearby enemiesfor a total of 30 seconds. It may not seem like a long time, but it can prove to be super helpful for crowd control. Of course, to drink potions during combat, players need to hold L1 and equip the potion –then press L1 to use it.
Where’s the Thunderbrew Potion Recipe?
The recipe for Thunderbrew can be purchased for 1200 Galleons at J. Pippin’s Potions apothecary in the village of Hogsmeade.Players will get to travel here with a classmateas part of the main story.
Players that don’t have enough cash for the recipe shouldtry and sell any old Gear that isn’t up-to-par in its stats. Of course, players should also use Revelio to locate treasures over the map –it’s easy to find cash lying around in stores and other areas.
