How to Unlock the Snow Angel Skin
Anyone who has been playingOverwatchregularly knows this by now, but the game has been putting out weekly challenges that allow players to earn new cosmetic items, culminating in a new skin if all of the tasks are completed. The Snow Angel Mercy skin can be earned through this new system.
By completing and winning three matches, players can earn a new icon, six matches will net a new spray, and by winning nine matches, players will earn the new skin. The matches can be won in any mode, be it Quick Play, Competitive, or Arcade mode. All of the prizes can pretty much be earned by simply playing the game.
Blizzard is doing more than just dolling out a new event and cosmetics, however, the company also recently aired itsannual Yule Log stream. In it, game director Jeff Kaplan sat next to a roaring fireplace in a room covered in holiday decor while talking about the game, engaging with fans, and having some laughs.
There is one moment during the stream where Kaplan briefly mentions the Junker Queen, a character who fans have been wanting to join the game for a long time. He ponders what role she would be, noting she certainly wouldn’t be a support. This has led the community to take this as atease for the Junker Queenpossibly entering the game in the near future.
Overwatchis out now for PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
