Marvel and DC Are Set to Make History With Their Upcoming Crossover
Marvel and DC Will (Hopefully) Be Laying Some Fan Debates to Rest
It has been 22 years since Marvel and DC last met. As the two premiere comic book publishers in North America, the companies have a rivalry that has at turns been friendly and bitter. The two would occasionally cross over, culminating in the mid-1990s, when the two releasedMarvel vs DC.
A series of two one-shots featuring Batman and Deadpool will be the first parts of the crossover, each with backup stories bringing together each publisher’s heaviest hitters.Doctor Strange will meet John Constantine and Green Arrow will spar with Daredevil. Who would win in these matchups has been the subject of fan speculation since the last time the two companies met.

The Hulk and Harley Quinn Are This Crossover’s “Odd Couple”
Harley Quinn and the Hulk Share One Trait in Common
At first, Harley Quinn having a run-in with the Hulk might seem a bit odd. There are plenty of other characters at DC the Hulk could have met, including many who are in his league, power-wise. The Hulk threw down with Superman in the firstMarvel vs DC,a meeting that makes more sense.
Yet Harley Quinn has proven resilient and resourceful, and these qualities will come in handy when encountering the Hulk. Harley is severely out-classed and instead will have to use her considerable intellect and “think outside the box” if she wishes to survive. However, Harley has a tendency to befriend society’s outcasts, of which the Hulk can be counted among.

The Hulk and Harley Quinn do share one trait in common: they are unpredictable. The anger-driven Hulk really just wants to be left alone, and lashes out at those who hound him. In some cases, the Hulk subverts expectations and proves himself a gentle giant every so often. Harley is full of surprises too.
Could Harley and the Hulk Become Friends?
Hulk Meeting Superman Could Just Be Boring
A true “dream” crossover for a character like the Hulk would seem to be a powerhouse such as Superman or Shazam, yet these could just end up being boring slugfests. Meeting someone like Harley Quinn would challenge theHulk, and he may even come out of the encounter with a new friend.
Batman/Deadpool#1 is on sale November 19 from Marvel and DC Comics!
