However, it doesn’t make sense why the Academy ignored Rodríguez’s impressive work not only in that episode but in season 3 as a whole.
Rodríguez’s performance asWill Trent’s main characterdeserves praise. From the beginning, the actor has blown the audience away with his ability to convey Will’s underlying vulnerability alongside his outwardly stubborn nature and tough exterior. In spite of his talent, though,Rodríguez has failed to receive an Emmy nomination for the third year in a row.
