I’m hyped for the game, but should I be? There has been so little in the way of build up for the upcomingFatal Frame 2remake that its hard to be sure what to be hyped for. It’s also possible that we’re just getting teased with the idea that the gamewill really venture out of Japan. Remember whenFatal Frame 4was confirmed for release in Europe? That’s is part of why I never let myself get to sure that anything is actually going to happenever, in the videogame industry and otherwise.
That all said, I am definitely hyped for thetheorythat I’ll be playing aFatal Frame 2remake on the Wii someday. It would make for a near-perfect send off for the Wii to getRhythm Heaven Fever,Dragon Quest X,Xenoblade,The Last Story, and a remake ofone of the scariest games ever madeall in its last year before retiring as Nintendo’s flagship home console.
It would be even nicer if some super-cool publisher brought theFatal Frame 2remake AND thealready translatedFatal Frame 4to the US incompletely must-have2-pack collection. That’s what I call money in the bank. What say you, Xseed?
