Velociraptors were some of the scariest dinosaurs in the originalJurassic Parktrilogy. Velociraptors are much smaller than many other dinosaurs in theJurassic Parkfranchise, but that doesn’t make them any less scary.
In many scenarios, their smaller size actually makes them more terrifying since they are quicker than many other dinosaurs and can follow characters into smaller spaces. While the first three films established that velociraptors are very dangerous creatures, theJurassic Worldmovies showed a different side of the dinosaur species.
In the firstJurassic Worldmovie,Chris Pratt’s Owen Grady is shown training a pack of velociraptors, who are led by Blue. All the raptors in this pack respect Owen, which means that they help him and the other characters in all threeJurassic Worldmovies. Since they have come across as very friendly in the previousJurassic Worldmovies, it’s easy to forget how dangerous velociraptors actually are.
