On the Leaderboard of Legends,Scott is currently in 8th place on the all-time regular-play winnings list with $455,000 and tied for 10th place with Ryan Long for the most consecutive games won with 16, and he could go even further.

In an interview withTV Insider,Ken, who holds the record for the longestJeopardy!streak at 74 games, shared that he has no plans to leaveJeopardy!any time soon. He explained,“The last host [Alex Trebek] worked into his 80s. Traditionally, it’s not a job you retire from.”
Ken continued,“I didn’t know at the time, but now that I have a few years under my belt,I think I understand why Alex wanted to do it. It’s just such an incredibly fun job. You’re playing along with the smartest folks and getting to see them do their thing up close.”
Ken added that he feels fortunate to still be working onJeopardy!as host 21 years after his 2004 streak as a contestant ended, and he has no plans to stop. He shared,“I really feel very lucky that I’m still part of the Jeopardy! family after all these years. And I have no plans to hang it up.”

Jeopardy!began with host Art Fleming, who led the show from 1964 to 1979. Alex hosted the syndicated version of the show from 1984 until he passed away due to pancreatic cancer at the age of 80 in 2020. After that, there were a series of temporary hosts untilKen and Mayim Bialik took over from 2021 to 2023.
In 2023, Ken was named the soleJeopardy!host. At 51 years old, he still has a long future ahead of him in the role, and this is a good thing because he brings so much knowledge, consistency, charisma, and genuine love for the game. In addition, as a former contestant, Ken understands exactly what it’s like for the players.

The fact that Kendoesn’t plan to leaveJeopardy!means thathe’ll be the host for many more years, and that’s fantastic for everyone. At first, I had a hard time getting used to a new host after Alex passed away, but I’ve since accepted and embraced Ken. He was the best choice to be the host, and he went up against some incredible celebrities in order to earn his place.
Throughout the last few years, Ken has really come into his own as the host ofJeopardy!, and I’ve come to enjoy his style. I love that he’s so passionate about trivia, and I laugh at his jokes. He’s also sincerely interested in the contestants and their lives, which makes sense because he’s an alum of the show.I hope that Ken hostsJeopardy!for many years to come.
