Love Island USAseason 7 pulled one of the most insane stunts in the show’s history,bringing Nic Vansteenberghe and Olandria Carthen back from the proverbial dead, but only under certain circumstances. DuringLove Island USAseason 7 episode 20, Nic was dumped from the villa and Olandria was dumped from Casa Amor when they didn’t have matches at the end of the recoupling.
After Nic and Olandria left off the last episode together,they were given the opportunity to return to the show if they chose to couple up. Elsewhere, the rest ofLove Island USAseason 7’s castwere struggling to understand what came next, especially with Taylor Williams and Cierra Ortega. Throughout the episode, twists and turns left the Islanders floored.
Love Island USAseason 7has had some wild twists, but in the most recent episode,seeing the way Nic and Olandria had to ingratiate themselves back into the castwas the wildest yet. As Casa Amor was none the wiser, the villa had to regroup with the knowledge that Taylor had two women to choose from. The struggles got real.
Nic & Olandria Were Sent On A Secret Date
They Got The Opportunity To Couple Up To Return
AsLove Island USAseason 7 episode 21 opened, Nic and Olandria got out of their car and walked to a table lit by fairy lights, toasting to their time in the villa. After getting a text that shared they’d be able to couple up and return to the villa,Nic and Olandria agreed to pair up. Then, the new couple dished on their experiences.
Olandria made it clear that Cierra Ortegawas paired up with Elan Bibas, and though she was still thinking of Nic consistently, she was doing what she could to see the new connection through. Nic, who had been with Olandria’s original match Taylor Williams during to Casa Amor,explained that while Taylor missed Olandria, he had a connection with Clarke Carraway.
Olandria, hurt by the idea thatTaylor was getting more physical with someone else, asked Nic about their connection. While Nic shared he hadn’t thought about it much, he had definitely been attracted to Olandria since the beginning of the season. Surprised,Olandria shared she’d found Nic attractive too, leaving things open for the new pair to exploretheir relationship.
The Villa Reacted To The New Couple, While Casa Amor Mourned

As the sun came up the next day, the Islanders were in for a major surprise. Nic and Olandria woke the villa up, surprising everyone that they were back. While no one really seemed to mind that they were coupled up,Nic watched as Olandria saw Taylor with someone new. Hoping to stay neutral, he spoke to both of them about the shift.
At Casa Amor, the ladies were struggling knowing that Olandria had left on such tough terms. Amaya Espinal criedto her new match, Zak Srakaew, guilty that she’d been part of why Olandria left, while Chelley Bissainthe cried to Cierra and Huda Mustafa. While Casa mourned, the Islanders got through their chats for the day, then played a spicy game of Casa vs. Villa.
Throughout the game,both teams got texts of spicy acts to perform, and the most out there would win a point. While they were neck and neck throughout the game, at the end, Casa got spicier than the main villa. Nic and Olandria even got in on the action more than once, and weren’t sure they were uninterested.
