With the Islanders being woken up in the morning with baskets at the foot of their beds,the robotic babies weren’t just a potential look into the future, but a challenge.
Each couple had to take care of one (or two) robotic babies to the best of their abilities, andwould be scored through the simulator’s internal system to either pass or failas parents.For some, like Ace & Chelleyor Pepe Garcia & Iris Kendall who both cared for twins, it was a tough challenge. Others, like Huda and Nic, seemed like naturals.
Throughout the day, the Islanders got a taste of what it could be like in their futures with kids,which opened them all up to deeper conversations. With healthy, interesting conversations between Ace & Chelley about their future, Chris & Huda about her difficulties in remembering being a single mother, andNic & Olandria about what they want, the challenge opened the Islanders up.
