Today, July 28, EA Sports revealed theMadden NFL 2699 Club, comprised of seven players from six separate teams. It’s an interesting smattering of positions, with two Quarterbacks, two Wide Receivers, one Running Back, a Right Tackle, and a Defensive End. Two players in the 99 Club are teammates on the Philadelphia Eagles – this isn’t the first time that’s happened, but it’s notable nonetheless.

Interestingly, the entirety of last year’s 99 Club – Patrick Mahomes, Christian McCaffrey, Travis Kelce, Trent Williams, and Tyreek Hill – did not make the cut this year. Justin Jefferson, Lamar Jackson, and Myles Garrett all moved up a single OVR point fromMadden NFL 25to make it intoMadden NFL 26’s 99 Club. Josh Allen may have benefitted fromMadden 26’s QB changes, where his height (6' 5") gives him better vision in-game.
