AMarvel Rivalsskin that was leaked back in 2024 is finally making its way over the popular hero-shooter tomorrow. Season 2 ofMarvel Rivalsjust kicked off on April 11 and has taken players to the mutant island of Krakoa and the Hellfire Gala, with characters sporting more dazzled-up looks, whichcan be earned through the game’s Battle Pass. This new skin coming tomorrow, though, definitely doesn’t fit with the more formal looks of this season’s theme, but it is one Marvel fans will probably recognize.

In a post from theMarvel Rivalsaccount on X, thedevelopers have confirmed the long-rumored zombieDoctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madnessskinfor the titular character. The skin was leaked shortly after the game’s release in December last year (viaGameRant). The skin will beavailable for purchase on April 17 from 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT.This is a premium skin and must be purchased with the blue Units currency, some of which can be earned via in-game challenges, but most players may have to fork over at least a little bit of real-world currency for this MCU skin.

Why Everyone’s Excited For Doctor Strange’s Multiverse of Madness Skin

It’s A More Obscure But Very Cool Look For Doctor Strange

The zombieDoctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madnesshas a lot of fans excited. It is a drastically different skin than anything currently available for Doctor Strange, andit’s the first “zombie” version of a character to appear in the game. The skin also pairs well with the otherMultiverse of Madnessskin already in the game: Scarlet Witch’s. While the skin won’t affect thegameplay of Doctor Strange, it will provide fans with glowing eyes and multiple sets of decaying arms and hands springing up from Strange’s wispy red cape when he unleashes his ultimate ability.

This darker look for Doctor Strange might have fit better withSeason 1’s vampire-hunting theme, which saw characters like Wolverine get a skin reminiscent of Van Helsing and others get blood-themed skins. But fans willprobably be excited to see one of the most memorable parts of the film become a fully playablepart of this popular free-to-play game, regardless.
