One of Sony’s big surprises this year at E3 2017 came from Capcom, who announced that players could go on the PlayStation Store and download astory demo for its upcoming crossover fighter,Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite. For those who may not have had a chance to play through the demo, a new video from former IGN editor and current PlayStation social media manager, Ryan Clements, and Capcom’s own Peter ‘ComboFiend’ Rosas take players through the story demo and provide more insight into the game.

TheMarvel vs Capcom Infinitestory demo takes place 88 days into the Marvel and Capcom convergence with Ultron Sigma currently in charge of the world. Popular locations from both universes have been combined such as XGard which combines Abel City from theMega Man Xgames and Thor’s home Asgard. Similar toInjustice, players get a chance to play through multiple characters through the campaign with the Infinity Stones mixed in as well.

After a short time in the demo, the duo transition to the versus mode where a much bigger roster of playable characters await. The video shows off gameplay footage for characters like Strider, Ultron, Thanos, Zero, and more. Not only that, Rosas provides a bit more context surroundingthe Infinity Stones, how to pull off switch combos, and more gameplay mechanics.

Even with the game expected in two months time, fans remain concerned over a number of issues including the lack of X-Men characters on the roster. Anextensive leak last monthrevealed a launch roster very similar to the one seen inUltimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, though lacking many fan favorite characters like Wolverine, Doctor Doom, and more. It appears that Capcom has plans to give fans the characters they want over time though extensive DLC plans known as seasons.

Marvel vs Capcom: Infinitelaunches on September 19 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
