How Did Afton Survive?
One unique element of this casting is the fact that Lillard’s character,William Afton, appears to die in the first movie.InFive Nights at Freddy’sending, Afton, wearing an animatronic suit, inadvertently triggers its springlock mechanisms and gets trapped and fatally wounded.
Now,Five Nights at Freddy’s 2will have to explain how he survives this fateful encounter. The trailer does not show him, so this remains one of the mysteries of the second movie. Hopefully, Ulrich and Lillard can get some good on-screen time together, making for a strongScreammini-reunion nearly 30 years later.
