For free roam expeditions, Nargacuga can be found in the Shrine Ruins and Flooded Forest. As for the particular quests, Nargacuga can be found in the Village Quest “Wind Speed Wyvern” and the Hub Quests “The Abyss Stares Back” and “Do It For The Dango!”
The void creature is weak to thunder and fire while resistant to water, ice, and dragon damage types. Kinsect users can target their extracts with red for the head, orange for the tail, and white for the wings. The Nargacuga is a fast and fierce opponent.Monster Hunter Riseplayers should be well-prepared when tackling the beast alone or with a group.
Narga Medulla has a fairly low drop rate, so players may have to hunt Nargacuga several times before the part will actually drop. While it can be frustrating, this isn’t uncommon for theMonster Hunterseries. Part of the allure for long-time veterans is the thrill of the hunt and the feeling of success upon finally finding that crafting component they had been working so hard to find. So, for new players just now getting into the series, they should get used to the idea of having a grind ahead of them.
Monster Hunter Riseis now available for PC and Nintendo Switch.
