Capcom has a massive hit on its hands withMonster Hunter World. The game is selling extremely well for the company, evensetting sales recordsand easily meeting expectations. For a game so large, it’s impressive that Capcom was able to keep the total number of bugs and glitches down to low levels. Unfortunately, the company wasn’t able to squash every bug, as a new and potentially troublesome crash has been discovered.

Recently, it has been discovered that decorations withinMonster Hunter Worldare capable of crashing games completely. The trigger for this crash comes from players who somehow create or obtain 200 or more decorations and place them in their item box. Thankfully, Capcom has already confirmed that the company is aware of the issue and working on a fix for the issue. Until then, players are advised to stay below the 200 decoration threshold.

For those who don’t know, decorations are jewels that end game users are able to slot into weapons and armor tounlock bonuses like additional skills or increasing skill level. They can be earned from high level quests or created from the Melding Pot vendor at Astera. While 200 is a number unlikely to be hit by most players, it’s still a bug to be wary of.

Since the game launched in January, reports of bugs, glitches, and major issues has been fairly low as compared to typical AAA releases. It hasn’t been flawless however as Capcom did delay the PC version of the game into Fall 2018 and the Xbox One version has had its own troubles to content with. At launch, Xbox players discovered that they were unable to properly match make with out players online. Capcom responded quickly andreleased update 1.0.0.8which to completely restored online functionality.

Monster Hunter Worldis out now for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The PC version releases later this year.
